Fun, friendship, service, and growth for kids and families.
Wilmette Pack 1 welcomes families looking for an active, supportive Cub Scout experience. Scouts learn by doing: raising the flag, building projects, exploring nature, helping neighbors, and discovering new skills alongside friends and caring adult leaders.
Cub Scouts gives kids a positive place to practice leadership, teamwork, curiosity, responsibility, and confidence. It is designed to fit family life and create memories parents and kids share together.

Cub Scouts is open to children in kindergarten through 5th grade. New families are welcome, and no prior Scouting experience is needed.

Scouting is hands-on
Kids learn best when they get to build, test, explore, and try again. From woodworking and simple engineering to outdoor skills and community service, Pack 1 helps Scouts discover what they are capable of.
"Cub Scouts gives kids real experiences: creating, helping, leading, and having fun with their friends."
